ASSP is committed to providing its members with ongoing opportunities to network, develop or sharpen leadership skills and make significant contributions to the safety profession, the Society, and their community. For these reasons, the Society organizes events, educational programs and continuously updates its body of knowledge.
ASSP strives to involve their members, not just serve them. Whether you want to head a committee, write an article for the newsletter, help find a future meeting speaker, or join a working group, we’ll give you the chance to turn from “member at large” into “volunteer extraordinaire.” There are many opportunities for leadership and volunteer involvement that are available to you. This includes both short-term and long-term volunteer opportunities. This is a great way to get involved and support our mission, even if you cannot regularly attend monthly meetings. To learn more about volunteer opportunities available within the Southwest Ohio Chapter please review the Volunteer Opportunities Summary Document.
